when you do a deal with these newer companies or people and they are all gung ho to get your traffic but when it comes to the return they just have nothing to send? Seems to me alot of the people you are doing the deals with do not have the authority to make them or can even add you in the exits cause they do not know HTML.

any thoughts??

Go to a show - make 20 traffic deals. Get back from show, and 1-3 might actually follow through with it.

My experience has been that the ones that do follow through on traffic are usually good for long term business.

Cool on PBP - lmk if you need anything. Hit me up when you have a moment, I have something you might be interested in.

I like making deals where I am promised XX amount of sales a day and actually get X amount per month. So many people talk big, but aren't actually able to follow through. If you don't have it, be honest up front and let me know what elese you have to offer to make this a worthwhile deal for both sides.

The other stinger is when you promote on boards that you are looking for traffic deals at the next show, and you set up a bunch of appointments. When you meet you find out that all these people want are traffic from you and have nothing to offer in return. It's like paying for a big booth at a show only to have content people hitting you up all day to buy their goods.

LMAO!!!
Yo Mike, our very first booth in Montreal Expo (Flash Cash) was right across from cd-rom distributers and to our right was Cyberpunk and Chaos with thier content.

Over to our left was this little company called Cave Creek...

jesus that was a long time ago... LOL ... i remember driving through montreal with crazy mikel from gamma one night thinking we might die.

i do not think that alot of people out there are worth their word anymore. so many people say they are the next big thing and then nothing or they are gone in a year.
