I took my daughter to Bob Evans for dinner. Place was packed.
As were finishing up the waitress brings my daughter the ice cream she ordered and says; By the way, you bill has already been paid.

I looked at her and laughed and said what? by who?
She said I don't know but the manager said it was taken care of.
I said this is insane who would buy me dinner and why?
The waitress said it happens there from time to time.

it was a pretty cool feeling

LOL . never had that happen to me ...

however last summer Jman and I were out for dinner .. the table next to use had three hot little babes that were celebrating one of thems Bday ... Since they talked to us through out dinner .. JF payed they're bill as a Bday gift ... the girls were blown away .. and well we felt pretty goos about it .. so off to the titty bar we went to spread some more joy to the world ...

Nope, never had that happen to me. Have had people give me a bit of extra change when I thought I had more cah on me than I thought and came up short at the register but never a full meal.

I had it happen in a bar at the Houston airport while on a layover on my way to Webmaster Access West... I was chatting with this sports agent dude about porn, and he had to leave, 10 minutes later I asked my waitress for the bill and she said that he had covered it already. Sort of cool, I shot him an email thanking him.
