Seems Yappo accounts got hit too in a letter dated 12/26 - They say change your username and password asap and keep an eye on any "discrepancies"

GFY is full of threads the topic - the board whores are having a feild day - lots of useless info but some was good stuff to know.

Also as far as I read the NATS software was not the security issue. The software was not hacked - The claim is NATS kept lists of admin access in house, the list or info was from companies that had NATS and allowed them (NATS) server access to do security and or maintinance and the login and account info of the NATS customer was comprimised. Some are trying to claim there is STILL a breach at NATS but that more then likely bullshit.

Then once the hackers had access to the individual programs. It was then that the programs were farmed for info IE: Member emails and such. What remains to be seen is how much info was taken from Nats admins and the extent of the info farmed.

I think a lot more emails will be coming as program server logs are checked, now that they know what to look for. The story has hit main stream press now so it's hitting the fan for real

Near as I can see some "nats only" emails are in the hands of spammers - I hate having to add emails to my deluge of spams but I guess im gonna have too. I am not sure how many user and pw i have to change but I bet it's like 15 or 20 programs I have accounts with that use NATS - I doubt they are redirecting any sales cause that leaves a trace trail to the money - looks like a lot of really good emails are out there and good know what company info.

This ones gonna sting a little I think. The effect of even more mistrust of the industry and on the safety of using your credit cards to buy porn.

Oh and anyone reading this with NATS and you don't have IP only access on your admin box - shame on you
