I went to book yesterday and all they have left are Grand Suites at $400/night. But this is the description of the room:

"Our Grand Suites offer breathtaking views of the mountains and Las Vegas Strip. Encompassing over 1,000 square feet, you'll find a full bar, walk-in closet, separate bedroom and living room, two baths, oversized beds."

Sounds like a party to me!!! Will you be coming?

I booked a junior suite about a month ago (in case I decide to actually go). Figured I could always cancel it or pass it to someone else if I don't.

Honestly the January Vegas show has always been THE SHOW to go to for parties! In my 11 years in the biz I have closed maybe 1% of the deals that have come from the show. Too many big talkers, drunks or druggies. They aren't in Vegas for business.

That sucks. Well, I guess I'll have to go for the food (some of my favorite restaurants) and the shopping. I'm not a partier.

I think thats holds true for most shows.. I would say 90 percent of my business has gotten done on messengers or phone

Actually, I get the most biz from that show than all the others put together, everyone has new budgets for the year, with so many revelers in Vegas mode, its easier to close people when their feeling good, and it depends on who you conduct your party biz with, since I don't drink or do the white stuff, my leads are "qualified" in more ways than one! :whistling:


With a 1000 sq ft suite, I may have to do my Miami suite party Redux!

I guess it depends on your targets, and business. It's never been good for traffic or design biz for me.
