What was the first show you went to?

I decided to look at Fubar to find pics of the event since I didn't take any pics at all... and it got me reminicing.

Mine was Vancouver 2002 sponsored by Sweet Money. I didn't know anybody at all and was really nervous and really shy. I was surprised to see lots of women there (not models) and everyone was super nice, maybe cuz I was a newb & a girl.

I remember virtumike & his bobble head... "how you doin?"
Now as I'm looking at the old pics, there's a lot of people I don't see around at shows anymore (and a lot of billing companies that have gone under too) and I'm thinking "wow, everyone looks so much younger then & I haven't aged one day!" LOL
I left with a lot of great new ideas after the show & was so pumped.

My first show was ia2000 Vegas in Jan of 1997. It was all audiotext guys and a few live dialer cams. There was no live streaming net video at the time.

IA2000 97 at the MontiCarlo Las Vegas- Remember all the photogs in the hallway with binders of content (wonder if any of that was legal?) - CE had a booth one of the few actual adult companys at the show - Oh and free swag - Think I have some t-shirts somewhere - I remember the dog costume omg - Back then WebSideStory was the big exibitor and The first live broadcast from the CE booth that started both Dokk and I in radio - Before that there was only Kman's show - what was the name of that lol - The same show I met Virtumike - He was in the hall asking the girls if they did anal! - Wow that was 10 years ago damn!

It was IA2000, and I think it was November of 96, or it might have been early 97.

I LOVED those IA2000 shows. As an exhibitor it didn't cost an arm and a leg to exhibit and you actually left with a lot more money in your bank account then when you arrived.
